Mathew Kurien, Senior Partner, an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, is a specialist in shipping law and admiralty practice. He obtained his Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the University of London and thereafter the Certificate of Legal Practice in 1994, diploma in International Commercial Arbitration and Mediation. He has been involved in the annotation of the Malaysian High Court Practice on Admiralty proceedings, is the author of Malaysian Court Forms on Shipping and Admiralty published by the LexisNexis Malaysia and Halsbury’s Laws of Malaysia in relation to admiralty practice.
